Experts, Advisors, Consultants and Clients
Effective date: 09 October 2026. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Platform.
1.1These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the platform, website, mobile applications, communication facilities, booking systems, payment services, and related services operated by coordint.com ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our").
1.2The Platform provides a digital environment through which independent experts, advisors, consultants, mentors, and other service providers ("Experts") can offer professional services to individuals, businesses, and other users ("Clients").
1.3By registering an account, accessing the Platform, listing services, accepting bookings, making payments, or participating in a session, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable policies incorporated into them.
1.4If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not register for or use the Platform.
1.5The Platform may update these Terms from time to time in accordance with Section 18. Continued use following the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
For the purposes of these Terms:
3.1The Platform provides technology and administrative facilities to enable Experts and Clients to discover services, arrange Bookings, communicate, conduct Sessions, and process payments.
3.2Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, the Platform acts as an intermediary facilitating transactions between Experts and Clients.
3.3Experts operate independently and are responsible for the professional services they offer, their qualifications, their conduct, and their contractual obligations to Clients.
3.4Nothing in these Terms automatically creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the Platform and an Expert.
3.5Experts are not employees of the Platform merely because they list services, receive Bookings, or pay Platform Commission.
3.6The Platform does not guarantee that an Expert will receive any particular number of Bookings, generate a minimum income, retain a particular ranking, or achieve any specific commercial result.
3.7The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, quality, or outcome of every service offered by an Expert. This provision does not exclude any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4.1Experts must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
4.2Experts are responsible for ensuring that their qualifications, professional registrations, licences, experience, service descriptions, and advertised credentials are accurate and not misleading.
4.3Experts must maintain any professional authorisation, insurance, licence, or registration required by applicable law for their services.
4.4Experts must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, confidentiality obligations, and data protection requirements.
4.5Experts must provide their services with reasonable care and skill and must not misrepresent their capabilities, qualifications, experience, or likely results.
4.6Experts must maintain accurate availability, pricing, cancellation policies, session durations, and service descriptions.
4.7Experts must not use the Platform to engage in unlawful conduct, harassment, discrimination, fraud, misleading advertising, unauthorised data collection, or other prohibited activities.
4.8The Platform may request information or documentation reasonably necessary to verify an Expert's identity, qualifications, business status, payment details, or compliance with applicable law.
4.9The Platform may reject an application, restrict an account, suspend a listing, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain platform integrity, or comply with legal obligations.
5.1 Commission Rate
The Platform shall charge a commission equal to 20% of the applicable service amount for every paid Booking or Session completed or otherwise payable under the applicable booking and cancellation rules.
The Expert acknowledges and agrees that this commission is payable to the Platform in consideration of its marketplace, technology, booking, payment facilitation, and related services.
5.2 Commission Calculation
Unless a different calculation basis is expressly agreed in writing, the commission shall be calculated as follows:
For example, if a Client pays £100 for a Session, excluding separately identified taxes and other excluded charges:
| Description | Amount |
|---|---|
| Client's service payment | £100.00 |
| Platform Commission (20%) | £20.00 |
| Expert's share (80%) | £80.00 |
The Expert's share may be subject to separately disclosed payment-processing charges, applicable tax adjustments, refunds, chargebacks, or other deductions permitted under these Terms.
5.3 Commission Applies to Each Booking or Session
The 20% commission applies separately to each paid Booking or Session facilitated through the Platform.
Where a Client purchases a package containing multiple Sessions, the commission shall apply to the amount attributable to each Session or to the package price according to the disclosed package-pricing and refund rules.
Where a Booking is paid in instalments, commission shall be calculated on the corresponding amounts collected or otherwise payable to the Expert, as applicable under the payment arrangement.
5.4 Commission on Recurring Sessions
Where a Client books recurring Sessions with an Expert through the Platform, the 20% commission shall apply to each relevant paid Session for as long as the transaction falls within the scope of these Terms.
The same rule applies to repeat Bookings made through the Platform.
5.5 Currency and Taxes
Commission shall be calculated in the currency of the relevant transaction.
Where currency conversion is required, the applicable conversion rate and any associated charges shall be determined by the Payment Provider or the method disclosed by the Platform.
The commission calculation excludes VAT or equivalent transaction taxes separately charged to the Client, unless applicable law requires a different treatment.
Experts remain responsible for their own income tax, corporation tax, National Insurance contributions, VAT registration, and other tax obligations, as applicable. This allocation does not remove any tax obligations imposed directly on the Platform by law.
5.6 No Unauthorised Commission Avoidance
Experts must not deliberately misrepresent, conceal, or manipulate Booking values or transaction details to avoid the applicable Platform Commission.
Where the Platform reasonably establishes that a transaction was deliberately misreported, it may recover unpaid commission, correct the relevant account records, restrict account access, or take other proportionate action permitted by these Terms and applicable law.
5.7 Changes to Commission
The Platform may propose changes to its commission rate by giving Experts reasonable advance notice.
Any revised rate shall apply prospectively from the stated effective date, subject to applicable law and any existing contractual commitments. Changes shall not retrospectively increase the commission on completed transactions.
If an Expert does not agree to a revised rate, the Expert may stop accepting new Bookings and terminate their participation in accordance with these Terms.
6.1Clients must pay the applicable price for a Booking through the payment methods made available by the Platform, unless the Platform expressly authorises another arrangement.
6.2Where supported by the payment infrastructure, the Platform may arrange for the Payment Provider to allocate the applicable commission and Expert share from each transaction.
6.3Subject to payment-provider requirements, verification checks, refunds, disputes, and other applicable adjustments, the Expert's share shall be paid according to the payout schedule communicated by the Platform.
6.4The Platform may delay or suspend a payout where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, resolve a payment dispute, comply with a legal obligation, satisfy a payment-provider requirement, or verify account information.
6.5Any delay must be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant payment arrangement. The Platform shall not retain funds indefinitely without a lawful or contractual basis.
6.6Experts must provide accurate bank account and payment details and promptly notify the Platform of any changes.
6.7The Platform is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate payment details, banking systems, payment-provider processing, or circumstances outside its reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
6.8Experts authorise the Platform and its designated Payment Provider to deduct or allocate the agreed Platform Commission in accordance with the payment arrangement and applicable law.
6.9The Platform does not undertake regulated payment activities unless authorised to do so. Where payment services are provided by a third-party provider, those services may also be subject to that provider's terms.
7.1Each Expert must publish or otherwise communicate clear service prices, Session durations, availability, cancellation conditions, and refund arrangements before a Client completes a Booking.
7.2A Booking shall be governed by the applicable terms presented to the Client at the time of purchase, together with any mandatory rights under applicable law.
7.3If a Client cancels a Booking, the refund or cancellation charge shall be determined by the disclosed cancellation policy, subject to any applicable statutory rights.
7.4If an Expert cancels a Booking or fails to attend a confirmed Session, the Client may be entitled to a refund or another appropriate remedy under the applicable booking terms and law.
7.5Where a full or partial refund is issued, the Platform may adjust or reverse the corresponding commission and Expert Earnings in accordance with the original transaction, the refund policy, and applicable law.
7.6If the Platform has already paid the Expert and a valid refund, chargeback, or payment reversal subsequently arises, the Platform may recover the corresponding amount from future payouts or request repayment, where contractually and legally permitted.
7.7The Platform may assist with payment or booking disputes but does not guarantee a particular outcome.
7.8Nothing in this Section removes a Client's statutory consumer rights, including any applicable rights concerning services not performed with reasonable care and skill.
8.1Clients must provide accurate booking and contact information and use the Platform lawfully.
8.2Clients must pay the applicable charges for confirmed Bookings and must comply with the relevant cancellation and attendance requirements.
8.3Clients must not harass Experts, submit fraudulent payment claims, impersonate others, misuse confidential information, or engage in unlawful conduct.
8.4Clients are responsible for evaluating whether an Expert's advertised services meet their requirements, taking account of the information reasonably available to them.
8.5Clients must not treat the Platform's listing, verification, or promotional activities as a guarantee of an Expert's competence, suitability, or professional outcome.
8.6These provisions do not limit any rights or remedies that Clients may have under applicable law.
9.1Where the Platform introduces a Client to an Expert or facilitates a Booking, the parties must comply with the payment and commission arrangements applicable to that transaction.
9.2Experts must not knowingly use Platform-generated leads, introductions, booking facilities, or contact information to deliberately evade commission on a transaction that remains subject to the Platform’s agreed commission arrangements.
9.3The Platform may investigate reasonably evidenced commission evasion and seek recovery of unpaid commission where contractually and legally justified.
9.4The Platform shall not impose commission on unrelated transactions merely because an Expert and Client have previously used the Platform, unless a clearly disclosed and enforceable contractual arrangement expressly covers those transactions.
9.5Any restriction on off-platform transactions shall be interpreted consistently with applicable competition law, consumer law, data protection law, and other mandatory legal requirements.
10.1Experts are responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, and delivery of their own services.
10.2Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the Platform does not itself provide the professional advice or consultation offered by Experts.
10.3Services may include business consultancy, career guidance, mentoring, coaching, technology advice, education, or other professional consultations.
10.4Unless specifically authorised and appropriately qualified, Experts must not represent their services as medical diagnosis, legal representation, regulated financial advice, psychological treatment, or any other regulated professional service.
10.5Clients should independently assess whether specialist advice or treatment from an appropriately qualified and regulated professional is necessary.
10.6The Platform does not guarantee that using an Expert will produce a particular result, financial return, professional achievement, personal outcome, or business improvement.
10.7Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for a false or misleading representation, negligent act, breach of contract, or other conduct where the relevant liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
11.1The Platform and its licensors retain ownership of the Platform's software, source code, design, branding, logos, databases, interface, systems, documentation, and other intellectual property, except for materials owned by third parties or users.
11.2Subject to these Terms, the Platform grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes.
11.3Users must not copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from Platform intellectual property except where expressly permitted by the Platform or applicable law.
11.4Experts retain ownership of their pre-existing intellectual property and original materials, subject to any separate agreement with the Client.
11.5Experts grant the Platform a limited licence to host, display, reproduce, and communicate the content they submit to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and provide the Platform's services, subject to their settings, applicable agreements, and data protection law.
11.6Experts must ensure they have the rights necessary to upload and use their content and must not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
12.1The Platform shall process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, where applicable.
12.2Users must provide personal information lawfully and must not upload or disclose another person's personal data without an appropriate legal basis.
12.3Experts are responsible for handling Client information obtained through their professional services in accordance with applicable confidentiality and data protection requirements.
12.4Users must not use the Platform to collect, sell, disclose, or misuse personal information unlawfully.
12.5The Platform may disclose information where required by law, a valid court order, or a lawful request from a competent authority, subject to applicable legal restrictions.
12.6Further information concerning data collection, use, retention, security, and users' rights shall be provided in the Platform's Privacy Policy.
Users must not:
The Platform may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including warnings, listing removal, payout review, account restrictions, suspension, or termination, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.
14.1An Expert or Client may stop using the Platform and request account closure in accordance with the Platform's account procedures.
14.2The Platform may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, security concerns, serious user complaints, payment disputes, or legal obligations.
14.3Where reasonably practicable and lawful, the Platform shall communicate the reason for significant restrictions and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue or appeal the decision.
14.4Account closure does not extinguish accrued commission obligations, valid refunds, outstanding payment liabilities, or other rights and obligations that arose before termination.
14.5Outstanding payments shall be handled in accordance with these Terms, the applicable payment arrangements, and applicable law.
14.6Provisions intended by their nature to survive termination shall continue to apply, including provisions concerning accrued payments, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, disputes, and governing law.
15.1To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of anticipated profits, loss of business opportunities, or loss of goodwill arising from a user’s use of the Platform, except where such losses arise from a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15.2The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, continuous access, or the absence of technical defects. The Platform shall nevertheless comply with any mandatory duties applicable to the services it provides.
15.3The Platform is not responsible for an Expert's professional advice, representations, qualifications, or conduct merely because the Expert uses the Platform, except to the extent the Platform itself is legally responsible.
15.4Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
15.5Where the Client or Expert is a consumer, the Platform's liability shall be limited only to the extent legally permissible and consistent with mandatory consumer protections.
15.6Where an Expert acts in the course of business, any limitation of liability applicable to that Expert's relationship with the Platform must be reasonable, transparent, and enforceable under applicable law.
15.7Nothing in this Section removes a user's legal rights against another party where those rights arise independently of the Platform.
16.1To the extent permitted by law, an Expert shall be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising directly from the Expert's own unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or negligent provision of services.
16.2A Client shall be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising directly from the Client's own unlawful conduct, fraud, material breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
16.3Any indemnity under this Section shall apply only to the extent the relevant loss was caused by the indemnifying party and shall remain subject to applicable law.
16.4Nothing in this Section requires a user to indemnify the Platform for the Platform's own negligence, breach of statutory duty, or other liability where such an allocation would be unlawful.
17.1Users should initially raise booking, service, payment, or account complaints through the Platform's designated support channel.
17.2The Platform may request relevant booking records, payment confirmations, correspondence, or other evidence reasonably necessary to assess a complaint.
17.3The Platform may facilitate communication between Experts and Clients but does not guarantee that every dispute can be resolved informally.
17.4Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from contacting a competent regulator, pursuing a statutory remedy, or bringing legal proceedings where legally entitled to do so.
17.5Any dispute-resolution procedure shall operate consistently with mandatory consumer rights and applicable law.
18.1The Platform may update these Terms to reflect changes in its services, business model, payment arrangements, security requirements, or legal obligations.
18.2Material changes shall be communicated through reasonable means, such as email, account notifications, or publication on the Platform.
18.3Where legally required, the Platform shall obtain fresh consent or provide additional notice before implementing a material change.
18.4Changes shall not retrospectively alter completed transactions or accrued contractual rights unless permitted by law and validly agreed by the affected parties.
18.5If a user does not accept a material change, they may stop using the Platform and terminate their participation in accordance with these Terms.
19.1The Platform may integrate third-party payment providers, video-conferencing services, scheduling systems, communication tools, analytics services, and other external technologies.
19.2Third-party services may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, fees, and operational requirements.
19.3The Platform is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party providers except to the extent it has responsibility under applicable law or a separate agreement.
19.4The Platform shall take reasonable steps to communicate material third-party requirements where those requirements directly affect a user's use of the Platform.
20.1Neither party shall be liable for a delay or failure to perform an obligation to the extent directly caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, major telecommunications failures, widespread cyber incidents, or government restrictions.
20.2The affected party shall take reasonable steps to mitigate the impact and resume performance where practicable.
20.3This Section does not remove payment obligations that have already accrued or any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with applicable policies and any separately agreed written terms, constitute the agreement governing the relevant use of the Platform.
21.2 Severability
If any provision is held unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect to the extent legally permissible.
21.3 No Waiver
A failure or delay in enforcing a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
21.4 Assignment
Users may not transfer their contractual rights or obligations without the consent required under applicable law or these Terms. The Platform may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a legitimate business restructuring or transfer, subject to applicable law and any necessary notice or consent.
21.5 Third-Party Rights
Except where expressly stated otherwise, a person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
21.6 Electronic Communications
Users agree that notices and contractual communications may be provided electronically where legally permitted.
22.1These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another governing law is required by mandatory applicable law.
22.2Subject to mandatory consumer protections and applicable jurisdictional rules, disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
22.3Nothing in this Section deprives a consumer of any mandatory protection or right to bring proceedings in a competent court where applicable law permits.
